2026 Be the village gala
On Tuesday, April 21st, we will host our annual gala centered around the theme Be the Village. This evening celebrates the role our community plays in supporting vulnerable women and families by providing life-affirming care, practical resources, and ongoing support during times of crisis.
pack the house
This is an easy way for churches to partner with FRC to raise funds and awareness for this ministry! Allow us a brief few minutes to share about the mission and vision of FRC at your service/meeting, either in person or by video, and then leave this cute house-shaped piggy-bank (or two if several traffic areas) with your group for about a month to collect donations!
BF Gathering
We have a discipleship initiative we call “Building Foundations” (BF’s for short). Through this program, clients have the opportunity to build community through an online and in-person support group.
There are several ways to get involved in our mentorship program:
-Become a mentor
-Provide meals for our monthly BF gathering
-Provide childcare for our monthly BF gathering
-Attend our BF gathering as a guest or guest speaker!
** All meetings at 6 PM at southbridge community church unless otherwise specified.
abortion recovery support
In 2020, sadly there were more than 37,500 abortions reported in Georgia. What’s
shocking is that 20% of all abortions in the US are performed on women who report attending evangelical churches! Abortion wounds the woman deeply, often leading to long-lasting depression, grief, and regret.
Initially, many women feel immediate relief after an abortion. The crisis is over, and they can go on with their lives like normal; no one ever has to know. However, for most women normal isn’t normal anymore. Feelings of guilt, shame, and regret may lead to depression, substance abuse, nightmares, suicidal thoughts, failed relationships and much more. Often, women don’t experience these emotions until months or even years later. The burden of carrying around the secret of an abortion can be overwhelming.
If you or someone you know are one of the millions of women suffering from the pain of a past abortion, we want you to know that there is hope and healing. Let us walk alongside you through this healing process.
