who and why
In John 10:10 Jesus says, “The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but I come so that you may have life, and life more abundant.” That’s what Foundations Resource Center is here for…to help the unborn and the born alike to not just survive, but to live life more abundantly. We were made to live in the light of His glory and grace…for eternity. So the end goal of FRC’s ministry isn’t just that a woman chooses to bring an eternal being into this temporary world. That’s just the beginning.
At Foundations, we want to see these women, their unborn babies, and their families as people loved by God and created in His image. We strive to see them through the same lens God does, then to meet them where they are and walk alongside them while equipping them with the tools they need to build a more solid foundation. We recognize that a firm foundation is only found in Jesus, and we can’t fix any situation by our own power. But we can lay the groundwork by speaking truth and showing love to each person we meet, along with providing practical services to help families have more stability.
So, yes, this is a life-saving ministry, but not because of a one-hour visit in our center or anything we do ourselves. It’s about salvation through Jesus.
